


About Affiliated Brokers
GetMed appoints affiliated brokers to market and distribute the various managed care plans that are on offer by the
different clients. To become an affiliated broker GetMed must be satisfied about the following criteria:
1. Accreditation status with the Registrar of Medical Schemes and/or the FSB;
2. Consulting skills to market medical scheme solutions;
3. Agent force;
4. Business capacity to fund marketing efforts;
5. Passion and attitude to consult in the GetMed target market;
6. Diligence and care in carrying out duties;
7. Client base
GetMed also applies a policy of ensuring that affiliated brokers functions as distribution channels for key areas, clients or major projects. We endorse and promote cooperation between brokers across channel borders to ensure effective selling capacity.
Because of the nature of our operations GetMed is contacted by many potential leads. GetMed allocates these leads on a fair and reasonable basis as well as in terms of the channel agreements to the affiliated brokers. GetMed does not
involve itself in the selling activities.
GetMed does, however, support affiliated brokers with corporate presentations, sponsoring venues or marketing events, as well as training of agents.
