Underwriting  

The scope of work offered by GetMed include the following as presented below (this is not an all inclusive list):

1. As the Fund will be funded through contributions its reserves will not meet acceptable levels to ensure financial stability. GetMed will procure risk management services and underwriting agreements from International Risk and Underwriting Managers;
2. The Risk management services and underwriting agreements will ensure that the Fund is not exposed to financial losses that might otherwise be incurred due to:  

• Mismanagement;
• Incorrect pricing;
• Unexpected disease profiles;
• Higher than expected service provider costs;
• Abuse of benefits;
